Other DIY E-liquid Tools and Supplies

Everything you need to make your own e-liquid is available at Vapestore, but you’ll probably find it helpful to have the following tools an d supplies to hand.

  • Mixing container -
    You'll need a clean container to mix your e-liquid in. Glass or plastic beakers, graduated cylinders, or mixing bottles are all good options. Just make sure they are clean and free of any residues from previous mixes.
  • Empty bottles -
    Once your e-liquid is mixed, you'll need to transfer it to a bottle for storage and use. There are many types of bottles available, including glass, plastic, and chubby gorilla bottles. Make sure the bottle is clean and labelled with the recipe, date mixed, and any other relevant information.
  • Syringes or pipettes –
    Mixing syringes can be used to accurately measure out the ingredients, especially when dealing with small volumes or when trying to be precise with the ratios. Make sure to use a separate syringe for each ingredient to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Kitchen Scale –
    You can choose to measure your ingredients by Volume with the aid of syringes or pipettes, or by Weight, for which you’ll need a set of simple kitchen scales that measures from 0.01 to 200g.
  • Labels -
    It's important to label your e-liquid bottles with the recipe, date mixed, nicotine strength (if applicable), and any other relevant information. This will help you keep track of your mixes and avoid confusion later on.
  • Disposable Gloves –
    While the ingredients involved in mixing DIY e-liquids are not harmful upon contact with skin, with the exception of nicotine suspended in e-liquid which can cause a reaction in a few cases, we recommend disposable gloves to protect yourself in the event of any spillages.
  • Funnel -
    A small funnel can be helpful for transferring liquids into the bottle without spilling or making a mess.

Mixing E-Liquid with Vampire Vape Flavour Concentrates

The first step is towards making your own Vampire Vape Vape Juice is to determine your desired flavour intensity. Vampire Vape recommends starting with a 15% flavour concentrate to 85% base ratio, but you can adjust this based on your personal preference. For example, if you prefer a stronger flavour, you could increase the ratio of flavour concentrate.

Here's an approximate example recipe for a 30ml bottle of 70VG/30PG e-liquid with a 3mg Nicotine Strength and 15% flavour concentrate ratios:

Measure out these ingredients either by Volume using measuring syringes, or by Weight using kitchen scales.

Storing and Steeping E-Liquid

Once you've mixed your e-liquid, you'll need to store it in a cool, dark place away from heat and light. This will help prevent oxidation and keep your e-liquid fresh for longer.

Steeping is the process of allowing your e-liquid to develop its full flavour. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the flavour and recipe. Making your own E-liquid

It is also thinner than VG, making it easier to wick and less prone to clogging coils. However, some people may be sensitive to PG and experience throat irritation or other adverse reactions.
